2026 NHFCU Board Nominees
This year, NHFCU’s Nominating Committee has recommended four nominees for Board positions. Each nominee’s term length is listed below.
Heather E. Brown has been a member of NH Federal since 2015 and currently serves as the Vice Chair for the Board. She is a Senior Sales Counselor at Havenwood Heritage Heights, a not-for-profit, accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community in Concord, NH. For the past 16 years she has been responsible for counseling and informing people about residency options and guiding them through the decision-making process. Previously Ms. Brown worked as Director of Community Relations at The Birches at Concord. She has more than 25 years of business experience.
Ms. Brown graduated from Elmira College with a Bachelor of Science degree and a dual major of Criminal Justice and Psychology. (Term, 3-year)
John T. D’Aquila joined the New Hampshire Federal Credit Union Board in 2025. He is a CPA and a recently retired Accounting and Finance professional with 39 years of diverse corporate experience with Ernst & Young in Hartford, CT; Raytheon Technologies Corporation in North Berwick, ME; The Timberland Company in Stratham, NH; and Watts Water Technologies in North Andover, MA (and Franklin, NH). He graduated from the University of CT with a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting and has lived in York, Maine, with his wife and three children for the past 29 years.
He has served on multiple Town Boards in York as well as a Corporate Board member of a Watts Water Technologies subsidiary. In retirement, he focuses on volunteer activities with not-for-profit organizations including SCORE, AARP Tax Aide, York School system, and the York Food Pantry. (Term 3-year)
George C. Gendron, Jr. has been a member of NH Federal Credit Union since 1997. He currently serves as Secretary for the Board of Directors, volunteers as a 401K Trustee for our employees and serves on other NHFCU committees, including the Governance Committee. George become the Administrator for X-Ray Professional Association and Concord Imaging Center in 2019 after working in Finance at Concord Hospital for over 20 years.
George began his career in finance/accounting in the early 90s after graduating from Bryant College in Rhode Island with a bachelor’s in business administration. Fulfilling his educational pursuits in the late 90s, George graduated from Simmons College in Boston with a master’s in health care administration. (Term, 3-year)
Mark A. Rivet is a member of New Hampshire Federal Credit Union and current member of the Board. Born and raised in Merrimack, Mark has owned the Rivet Funeral Home, which his parents started in 1962, since his father’s death in 1993. In 1995 Mark started the Merrimack Cremation Service, growing it to one of the largest cremation services in New England.
Mark served on the former Merrimack Emergency Management Committee and served many years on the Last Rest Cemetery Board of Directors, including several years as the superintendent of the cemetery.
Mark received his degree in Funeral Service from New England Institute of Applied Arts & Sciences in Boston. (Term, 2-year)
