For the password, enter the last six (6) digits of the primary account holder’s Social Security Number (SSN). We have seen a surge in “Imposter Scams” where criminals pose as government officials to steal tens of thousands of dollars. These scammers use extreme pressure, threatening legal action or harm to family members to force immediate action.

Red Flags to Watch For:

Demands for Cash: Instructions to withdraw large sums of money immediately.
Enforced Secrecy: Being told NOT to tell family or bank staff about the transaction.
Fabricated Stories: Claims that your accounts are compromised or that you are part of a “secret investigation.”

If someone you don’t know threatens you, accuses you of wrongdoing, demands urgency, secrecy, and cash, it is a scam.

Important Note: No legitimate organization or government body will ever ask you to lie to your bank or use threats against your family to facilitate a transaction.
