About Us

About Us (well, it’s really about you)

As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we are owned by our members – people like you, your family, your co-workers, and your neighbors.  You own us and we are at your service! You even have a say in how our organization is run by electing our volunteer board of directors.   The credit union philosophy is “people helping people”.  So, how does this translate to a sustainable business model?

The money you deposit in NH Federal Credit Union is the money we lend to other members.  The interest paid on loans funds the interest you earn on your savings with us and helps offset our operating expenses, keeping fees and additional service costs reasonable and minimal.  You’ll find a full array of banking services with us: savings, checking, club accounts, money markets, car loans, home equity loans…

Our mission? We exist to make a positive difference in the lives of the people and communities we serve through financial education and services.  This means YOU.  As you get to know us, you will find us focusing on your overall financial well-being with financial education, one-on-one coaching, and more.  You see, we are passionate about empowering you so you can  get you where you want to be, when you want to be there.
