Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Dolores Quinn! Dolores has excellent skills in detecting fraud. Most recently, Dolores uncovered a check overpayment scam after a check a member deposited was returned unpaid. By asking the right questions, Dolores learned our member had been “overpaid” and was supposed to send funds back to the check issuer. Sensing that Dolores was trying to protect her, the member disclosed that she had an even larger check from the same party she was getting ready to deposit. Thank you, Dolores, for stopping what could have been a financial disaster for everyone! It’s comforting to know our employees provide a strong line of defense.
