Wednesday, February 24, 2021 The Nominating Committee was appointed by the Board Chair as required by the Bylaws, Article IV, Section I. The Board Chair selected the Nominating Committee members based on their knowledge of the Credit Union’s operations and objectives. For Three Year Terms: William F. Costa William (Bill) Costa is a software engineer with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Science Education from Plymouth State University. Mr. Costa, who is now retired, worked for over 40 years with the University of New Hampshire’s academic and administrative communities in the role of Information Technologist. During that time he served in a wide range of roles and performed a variety of duties including information technology training, documentation, applications/systems programming and technical team leadership, all while mastering information technologies stretching from computer punch cards to cloud computing. Mr. Costa has been a member of NH Federal Credit Union since 1986 and has been an active supporter of NHFCU's Centers for Finance & Education. Stephanie Milender Stephanie Milender received her Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Plymouth State College, as well as her Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management from Franklin Pierce College. Ms. Milender started her financial career in 1986 in the Department of Cultural Affairs as an Accountant and Business Administrator. In 1996, she became a Court Auditor within the New Hampshire Judicial Branch. From 2001 to 2003, Ms. Milender was the Business Administrator for the New Hampshire Insurance Department. In 2003, she began work for the Adjutant General's Department as the Administrator and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the National Guard in 2018 – the highest Military Award that can be bestowed on a civilian. From 2018 to 2020, she was the CFO at NHTI in Concord, then retired from State Service in 2020. Ms. Milender currently serves on NH Federal Credit Union’s Budget and Technology Committees and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2013. Lori H. Real, MHA Lori Real has 35 years of leadership experience working in the NH private, government and non-profit sectors. She is presently employed as Executive Vice President, Finance and Business Development, at Bi-State Primary Care Association. Previously, she served as Director, Health Planning and Medicaid, at the NH Department of Health and Human Services, and as Vice President, Corporate Planning, at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NH. Mrs. Real was honored with the Henry Fiumelli Patient Advocate Award from the National Association of Community Health Centers; the Public Service Award from Coos County Family Health Services; the Public Service Award from Granite State Independent Living, and the Public Service Award from Bi-State Primary Care Association. Mrs. Real earned a Masters in Health Administration from the University of NH and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from Franklin Pierce. She is a graduate of Leadership NH. Mrs. Real has been a member of NH Federal Credit Union since 1982. She has served as an active member of the NH Federal Credit Union Board of Directors since 2015. Mrs. Real currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, volunteers as a Member of the Budget Committee and is Chair of the Governance Committee.
