Sunday, December 2, 2018 NHFCU uses a fraud monitoring service to alert us if and when a debit or credit card transaction may be fraudulent. When this happens, you will receive a phone call asking to verify the transaction and asking you to verify other information to be certain it is you on the line. The caller WILL NOT ask for your card or account number. If there is no response to the call, a suspicious transaction may be declined and your card may be blocked for future transactions. If this happens to you, please call or email us and be sure to provide the best way to reach you. The best way to avoid the inconvenience of a declined transaction is to make sure we have your latest and greatest contact information - the contact information you will most likely have with you at the point of purchase, like your cell phone number. Please note: If you receive a call from someone looking for more than the verification of a transaction and other verifying information they already possess, hang up and call us directly at (603) 224-7731.
